Our client is a leading manufacturer and innovator in the agricultural equipment industry, dedicated to designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art machinery that enhances agricultural productivity. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to add to their growing team.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in heavy agriculture equipment design, you will play a pivotal role in our product development team. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of advanced agricultural machinery, ensuring robust performance and reliability in challenging environments. Your expertise will drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in our product offerings.

* Salary range is 90-110K, DOE, plus great benefits. Bonus opportunity of 20%.

• Lead and manage the design process from concept through to production for heavy agriculture equipment.
• Utilize advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed designs and engineering drawings.
• Conduct structural analysis, tolerance analysis, and simulations to optimize designs for performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing and product management to ensure design feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with OEM suppliers and vendors to integrate design features.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and materials to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Closely support manufacturing operations on production tools, methods, and processes.
• Support field testing and validation activities to ensure product reliability and performance in real-world conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the design and development process.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of heavy machinery, specifically in agriculture or related industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
