Job Description

Our client is a market leader and innovator in energy efficient power conversion with its highly integrated controller ICs and proprietary high voltage Gallium Nitride (GaN) transistor technology. They are seeking a Senior HR Manager for their team in San Jose, CA. Ideal candidate is a talented Hands-on HR Generalist who enjoys working on challenging projects in a team-oriented environment.

Salary range:  base up to 160K plus RSU's

Specific Duties Include

  • Drive and interface with HR peer groups to develop and provide insights across all HR functions planning.
  • Take leadership roles for Company-wide international HR projects.
  • Prioritize, collaborate, and develop insight-based solutions.
  • Partner with the HR leader and worldwide HR Team to design a comprehensive talent strategy to ensure successful execution of business objectives.
  • Lead and manage Company's HR Operations, Compensation, Immigration, Benefits, HRIS and HR Business Solutions.
  • Make recommendations on policies related to compensation programs, incentive plans, equity compensation, and performance management.
  • Prepare special reports and make recommendations on salary structure movements, salary increase and budgets.
  • Complete compensation surveys and benchmark positions for base and total compensation.
  • Demonstrate experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, and succession planning.
  • Oversee the management of the HR Oracle database and automated performance management system (SumTotal).
  • Manage all employee Americas benefits and annual renewal.
  • Manages Immigration interface with legal and employee base.
  • Manage and support the internal and external HR website.
  • Handle Change Management
  • Manage Talent and Workforce Planning Solutions
  • Manage Culture and Employee Experience
  • Manage Performance, Recognition and Rewards
  • Manage Workforce Analytics and Technology
  • Be onsite with team 100% of the time.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of progressive success as a strategic manager.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have Proven experience in managing and implementing large scale HR programs and/or initiatives globally.
  • Must have Excellent change management skills - comfortable with ambiguity and constant change.
  • Ability to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments.
  • Must be Excellent at building and managing relationships across all levels of management and our worldwide HR organization.
  • Must have Solid understanding and working knowledge of HR laws, compensation, benefits, regulations and compliance practices.
  • Must have Passion for creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and creating a culture with competitive advantage.
  • Must have High level of expertise in Excel and HRM systems. Oracle and SumTotal experience preferred.
  • Must have Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
